Listening: To some nice soothing classical music, it is helping the dogs and me too!

Loving: That fall is almost here! It has been way to humid for my taste so I am ready for some cool fall air!

Thinking: Of the zillions of things I need to get ready for school!!!

Wanting: To paint my nails. I have neglected them this month, which is probably good for their health, but I am so sick of naked nails!! I am thinking shades of purple will be the theme for the week!!

Needing: To get ready for the first day of school!

<3:
1. Exercise!
2. Work efficiently! Rather than overworking, thinking and obsessing, I want to work efficiently this year!
3. Prioritize! I guess this ties in with number two, but I want to focus on what needs to be done first and work to get those things done first. Hopefully this will keep me a bit more calm!!

Click the picture below to head on over to Farley's to link up! I am off to do some reading and hopping!

  2. Like you, I need to paint my toe nails. It has been on my To Do List for weeks, but I just haven't taken time to do it. Maybe I will do it tonight. Hope you have a wonderful week!

    1. Yeesh, I don't know that I could survive another month of it! We have only had it for a few weeks. I think you Texans are a lot tougher than I am! ;) I agree, I can't wait to see pumpkins and corn stalks!

    1. Blah, I just realized I will have hot recess duty this week too. I just about melted setting up my room, the hot sun is going to be torture! I use classical music in my room too, but not all the kids beg for it, at least not my 5th graders last year! I shall have to see how this years crew takes it. Thanks Tara, I hope you have a great week too!

  5. Had the same reaction to the classical music. We read a short bio about Mozart and they love hearing some of his music. But you're right, some kids, after a short while are ready for something with "words and more of a beat, ya know?" as one of my students told me last year!

Have a great start to your year! I'm your newest follower.

  7. No fall in my future. Boo. I really tried to work smarter last year. I set a time to leave 4 out of 5 days a week. It forced me to use every minute during the day smartly, and I was able to get out at a good time!

  8. Hey Melissa I just saw an ad on Facebook for one of those monthly subscription services and totally thought of you. It's called "Blackbox." Apparently you get 3 polishes a month and a "professional tool" (not sure what that means exactly). I don't have the link but I'm sure you could google it if you're interested. :-)
